Overview

Andrew received a B.A. in Economics and M.A. in Finance from Claremont McKenna College, and he received a M.S. in Data Science from New York University with foci on mathematical data science, machine learning, and NLP. Prior to joining the program, Andrew worked as an Economic Consultant at Cornerstone Research and as a Quantitative Researcher at Epoch Investment Partners. His research interests are broadly related to how data science tools can lead to connections between theory and empirical analysis in topics related to capital markets and voluntary disclosure.

  • ACCT1010 - Acct & Financial Report

    This course is an introduction to the basic concepts and standards underlying financial accounting systems. Several important concepts will be studied in detail, including: revenue recognition, inventory, long-lived assets, present value, and long term liabilities. The course emphasizes the construction of the basic financial accounting statements - the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement - as well as their interpretation.
