Holly Yang

Assistant Professor of Accounting


Professor Yang’s research interests include the role of managers on firms’ voluntary disclosures and the capital market responses to firms’ voluntary disclosure decisions. Her current research examines the effect of voluntary disclosure on the cost of equity capital at the market level. She has published in the Journal of Accounting and Economics and Management Science.

Professor Yang currently teaches intermediate accounting in the undergraduate program. She has also taught courses on financial accounting to graduate and undergraduate students at Cornell University and the University of Michigan. She holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University and a Master of Accounting from the University of Michigan.
